College & Career Resources

Each student starting from 9th grade is assigned a faculty advisor.  The student meets with this person on a regular basis to discuss issues related to academic progress and planning as well as to provide support and encouragement. The advisor serves as an advocate for the student and is the main contact person for parents.  A Guidance Counselor is available also to students as they prepare for college. Students receive assistance with academic issues throughout high school including: PSAT/NMSQT, SAT test, college search, college application, financial aid process, scholarships, internship placements.

Below are some websites and resources used to help prepare your child for college:

  • College Board SAT Prep Website:  Click on this icon to access SAT, AP and College Planning information.   

  • Naviance Succeed (Family Connection)- Students login to Naviance from the School database.  Once they are logged into their SST database account they will click on the Naviance link to be directed to the website.Naviance helps students and families connect what students do in the classroom to their life goals, including finding colleges and careers based on their personal skills and areas of interests. Naviance also helps us to set individualized College planning for each candidate. In addition to that during application time, we can send documents by Edocs (family Connection Platform)

    Prep Me- Students access Prep Me once they are on the Naviance website.
