Congratulations everyone! 100% of you passed the STAAR test! In addition, about half of you were commended for your excellent performance! Nice job!
Some of you are asking me questions about your final exam and about your review packet. Here's some clarifications for you. The problems on the review packet that I asked you to circle are going to be on your final exam. However, you only circled 42 of them. And the final exam has 50 questions. Do the math, what's the difference?
There are some of you with missing assignments/tests/quizzes. Please check your database grades and turn in any outstanding assignments.
Your final exam has 50 questions.

Study problem #141 in your final review packet for clues!
UPDATE: LOOKS LIKE THEY MOVED THE DATE TO WEDNESDAY!
Math Final is scheduled to be on Wednesday 23. Remember, it counts as a whole 6th week grade, basically 1/4 of your semester grade. So, it is not to be taken lightly.
And yes, it is more difficult than your STAAR test! So study plenty!
UPDATE: Full credit extended to Monday. Late penalty starts on Tuesday.
Please turn in your textbook by Friday to avoid being charged for the textbook. This 6th week's binder/notebook grade will be automatic 100 if you turn in your textbook on time. Monday would be late.
Solutions for the final exam review as well as the chapter 10+11 review are posted in Download Files.
Good luck to all!
Thank you for being an awesome group of Algebra I students! I'm proud of you! Looking forward to the 23rd (STAAR scores hopefully!)
As many of you requested, there will be one last chapter test, an opportunity for you to increase your test average!
The content will be chapters 10 and 11. You will take this exam on Friday May 18.
Review for chapters 10 and 11 was passed out on Monday class. Please see me if you were absent
Please start working on problems #121 to #150 on your review packet. We will work on it throughout next week.
Your final exam will consist of about 50 questions taken from #1 to #150 on your review packet. Please bring the packet to class every class until your exam.
Other things to bring: study guide 0, your textbook, your notebook, your binder, and your custom-made cheatsheet.
