Annual Fund

We had a great week of giving! Every class's participation rate increased over last week. (If you can't remember if you have made a gift for this year please contact the Advancement Office.) Our goal is for all families to make a gift to the Annual Fund by June 30.  Each year brings new possibilities and growth for Harford Day. The Annual Fund supports all educational opportunities, which make our School stronger year to year.

Have you made your gift? If not, click on the link below to make your on-line gift or drop your check off in the front office.

We are seeking volunteers to be Room Parents for the 2017-2018 school year.  Room Parents serve a one-year term and work with teachers to plan and coordinate hot lunches, parties, and special events. If you are interested in being a Room Parent for your child's class, please email Ashleigh Wilkes at

From the Health Suite

This may be a good time to think about scheduling a well-child physical. Harford Day School requires students entering First, Third, Fifth, and Seventh Grades to have updated physicals. The school’s NEW physical examination form is on the School’s website. The Health Inventory Form 1215 is NOT required for returning students, only students new to HDS. Other back to school health forms are also on the website. For example, if your child has asthma or a life-threatening allergy, please ask his/her health care provider to complete the required Action Plan and Medication Authorization form(s). Other forms such as the Maryland State Immunization Certificate and Bloodlead Testing Certificate are also on the website under the “Frequent Forms” section.

The Harford Day School Parent Association

Please see the attached notes from the May meeting, which include details on how our successful fundraising efforts will benefit the school. Thank you again to everyone who participated in the parent association this year! We could not have made such a difference without your time and efforts. We would also like to thank our excellent HDS teachers for all that they do to educate, nurture and bring out the best in our kids! We wish everyone a fun and safe summer break!
