Mountain Washington Summit in winter

What physical processes do you see at play here?

What engineering challenges must be overcome for humans to reside in such an extreme environment?

You have arrived at the gateway to my courses. Here you will find links to important resources and scheduling information.

For the '15-16' academic year, I will be teaching Honors Methods in Science and Chemistry all year as well as Physics in the fall semester and Astronomy in the spring.

I look forward to an exciting year of discovery with my students in all these courses.

Science is a process, to master it you must learn to observe carefully, ask questions, think critically, approach problems systematically and pay close attention to detail. Science includes a body of knowledge, but your primary goal in studying science is to develop problem solving skills, not to fill your brain with memorized facts.
