Welcome to the Hamburg School STEAM Store!

The store items are made available to our parents and local community in an effort to expand S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) learning opportunities to the students in the Hamburg School.

In order to initiate this means of fundraising, items are currently being produced by Hamburg staff. The goal is to initiate student interest so that in 2019 the Hamburg School STEAM store is run by our students. Starting soon, students in Grades 5-8 will be have the opportunity to complete an application to become store employees (every student who expresses an interest is hired). Our younger students (K-Grade 4) may also complete simplified applications to become apprentice employees and will be assigned helpful tasks at the store. Hamburg staff will serve as store managers. Through this experience student employees will be involved in marketing their product, updating the store website, taking orders, producing product, packaging development, and fiscal management. Dependent on the revenue generated, students will also have the opportunity to expand our STEAM lab with state of the art learning opportunities.

Our first Cricut machine was purchased using grant funding. Two additional Cricut machines and the initial purchase of sale items were donated to the Hamburg School by staff members who believe in our students and the success of this learning experience.
