WHAT IS THIS? Extreme Makeover is a community initiated workday primarily for the schools in the Fort Defiance School District: Clymore Elementary, Stewart Middle School and Fort Defiance High School. It’s YOUR chance to give back to the schools that impacted your life either as student, alumni, teacher, coach or even impacted your children. NO ONE is excluded including neighbors around the area. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever especially with your help.
WHEN: Saturday, August 7 from 8:00-1:00pm. Volunteer for an hour or stay all morning!
SIGN-UP or SHOW UP:
On Saturday the 7th, visit one of the pop-up tents in front of any of the three schools to be given a work assignment.
To add your name to the list, just click on the big blue “Sign-up Now” link.
To sign up for a specific project, click on a school for a list of projects. This will help us a great deal in preparing for the work day.
COME READY TO WORK!
Please bring any yard-tools you might have like shovels, rakes, forks as well as gloves and water!
Wheelbarrows, chainsaws, pruning shears and other similar tools are also very helpful.
