Spring Term Class Assemblies

Friday 17th March - Year 1/2 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Miss. Evans and the Year 1/2 children with their Class Assembly. It was lovely to see what the children have been learning during their "Mini Zoo" theme.


Miss. Evans showcased an Oracy and Reading activity for the family members after the assembly. The children really enjoyed sharing their learning.


Friday 10th March - Year 2 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Mrs. Davies and the Year 2 children with their Class Assembly. It was lovely to see what the children have been learning during their "Mini Zoo" theme.


Afterwards the Mrs. Davies showcased an Oracy and Reading activity for the family members. The children really enjoyed sharing their learning.



Friday 3rd March - Nursery Welsh Celebrations.

This week it was also the turn of Mrs. Cross and both the Sunshine and Rainbow Nursery Groups with their Welsh Celebrations. Both groups did very well and everyone was very impressed! We particularly loved the children's Welsh songs.

After both Welsh celebrations the parents and family members completed a Welsh Flag activity with the children. The children enjoyed sharing their learning.

Friday 3rd March - Year 3 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Miss. Hire and the Year 3 children with their Class Assembly. It was lovely to see how much the children had learned about St. David and Welsh traditions. Unfortunately Miss. Hire was unable to hold a session back in the classroom for the family members. Another date will be arranged for the children to share their learning with their family members very soon.


Friday 10th February - Year 3/4 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Mrs. Stephens and the Year 3/4 children with their Class Assembly. It was lovely to see what the children have been learning about during their theme of "Flight Engineers."



Mrs. Stephens showcased a reading session after the assembly for the family members to share the children's learning. Everyone enjoyed taking part in the activities.



Friday 3rd February - Year 4/5 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Mr. Jones and the Year 4/5 children with their Class Assembly. It was lovely to see what the children have been learning about during their theme of "Heroes and Villains."


Mr. Jones showcased a reading session after the assembly for the family members to share the children's learning. Everyone enjoyed taking part in the activities.


Friday 27th January - Year 5/6 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Mr. McCarthy and the Year 5/6 children with their Class Assembly. The assembly was a sensitive Holocaust memorial assembly. The children spoke about the Holocaust and the many people who lost their lives. The children beautifully sang, "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry to finish the assembly.



Mr. McCarthy showcased a reading session after the assembly for the family members to share the children's learning. Everyone enjoyed taking part in the activities.


Friday 20th January - Year 6 Class Assembly.

This week it was the turn of Miss. Warren and the Year 6 children with their Class Assembly. Even though it is early in the Spring Term it was lovely to see how much you have learned already! We particularly enjoyed finding out about your enterprise week, which was a great success! We also enjoyed listening to your Doctor Jones version of the 7x times table. 

 
Some of the children showcased their talents playing tunes on their flutes and clarinets. We were very impressed!
