Class Assemblies Summer Term

Mr. Hazel Year 5/6

Today it was the turn of Mr. Hazel and the Year 5/6 children with their Class Assembly - 08.07.16
A huge well done to the Mr. Hazel and the children in Year 5/6 for a lovely class assembly! We all really enjoyed finding out about what you have learned in both themes this term. We really enjoyed your story about the water cycle and the Welsh PowerPoint the girls put together was impressive! We also enjoyed your version of "Summer" by Calvin Harris... Your dancing was a treat! I'm sure Mr. Hazel will be taking away happy memories when he leaves for his new school!

Mrs. Davies Year 2

Today it was the turn of Mrs. Davies and the Year 2 children with their class assembly - 01.07.16
A huge well done to Mrs. Davies and the Year 2 children for a lovely class assembly. It was lovely to see what you have been learning about during your theme of growing things. We enjoyed your lovely singing and you all spoke very clearly. It was lovely to hear about the vocabulary you have been using in your writing... We were all very impressed!

Miss. Evans Year 1/2

Today it was the turn of Miss. Evans and the Year 1/2 children with their class assembly - 24.06.16
A huge well done to Miss. Evans and the Year 1/2 children  for a lovely class assembly! It was lovely to see what you have been learning about during your theme, "Growing Things." You all spoke well and your singing of, "the climb" was lovely! Everyone enjoyed watching your Green Screen video and the vocabulary that you have learned was fantastic!

Mrs. Morgan Year 1

Today it was the turn of Mrs. Morgan and the Year 1 children with their class assembly - 16 17.06.
It was lovely to see how much the children have learned already during their theme, "Land of the Dinosaurs." Your stories that you shared were lovely and we enjoyed you singing the number bonds song. We also loved listening to the things you have enjoyed this year in class in your video.

Mrs. Herridge Reception

Today it was the turn of Mrs. Herridge and the Reception children with their class assembly - 10.06.16. 
It was lovely to see how much you have learned during your theme of "Battle of the Dinosaurs." We enjoyed watching you act out your story and your singing was lovely! We also loved your dinosaur paintings, they looked fantastic! Well done everyone!

Mrs. Stephens Year 3/4

Today it was the turn of Mrs. Stephens and Year 3/4 for their class assembly - 27.05.16
It was lovely to see how much you have learned during the theme of Sensoria! Your oracy skills are developing nicely - every voice was clear and expressive! We particularly enjoyed you reading the poems and you all singing "Love Shine a Light" sounded lovely!  What a fantastic way to end the half term!

Miss. Hire Year 3
Today it was the turn of Miss. Hire and Year 3 with their Class Assembly - 20.05.16 
It was lovely to see what the children have been learning about during their theme of "Sensoria." Even though much of this half term has involved the National Tests it was lovely to see how much you have learned! Your knowledge of the eye could give some of the opticians of Merthyr a run for their money I'm sure! A huge well done to the Year 3 children and Miss. Hire!

Mr. McCarthy Year 4/5

Mr. McCarthy and Year 4/5 kicked off our class assemblies for the Summer Term today - 13.05.16.
What a lovely start to the final round of the year! It was lovely to see what the children have been learning about during their theme of "Bend and Flow." We enjoyed your fun and informative quiz about saving water and your singing was lovely! Everyone enjoyed joining in with the chorus of James Bay's "Hold Back the River!" A huge well done to the Year 4/5 children and Mr. McCarthy!
