Grant Wood Area Education Agency Presents:

The “Building Bridges Assistive Technology Conference” will provide an opportunity to see first-hand the latest in assistive technologies (AT), practices, and services for school-age students with disabilities. This AT conference will serve as a unique opportunity for professionals, parents, administrators and service providers to exchange and gather information on the current status and assistive technology tools available for consideration

Keynote & Featured Speaker: Kate Ahern, Assistive Technology Specialist and a Special Needs teacher supporting students birth through adults in Masschusetts. 
Featured Speaker:  Mike Marotta, RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional who has been providing direct services to individuals with all disabilities for over 25 years.


Registration from 8:00-8:20 am at the GWAEA Conference Center in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Participants are encouraged to attend a single track or a wide variety of tracks depending on your conference objectives. Lunch and parking will be included with your registration.
