Northern Arizona State University is located in Flagstaff Arizona. They also have multiple satellite campuses located on many of the Maricopa Community College campuses making it more accessible to students in the valley.

University of Arizona is located in southern Arizona in Tucson. With a wide variety of academic choices this will make a great option for those wanting to live on their own, but not too far from family to visit. Grand Canyon University is Private Christian University located just 15 minuets from Glendale High School and offers a great small university feel and lots of one on one attention for students. It is continuing to expand their programs with the newest being Hospitality Management and Golf Management Program.
