The 2025 swimming and diving season was a period of impressive achievement and broken records, highlighted by strong performances at both the District and State levels for both the Girls’ and Boys’ teams.
The Girls’ team had a phenomenal post-season, securing a 2nd place finish at the highly competitive District Swim Meet. This successful showing was underscored by the incredible performance of Kiwi Smith, who was honored as the District Swimmer of the Meet. The team demonstrated significant depth by qualifying athletes and in six individual events and securing spots in all three relay events for the State Championships.
At the State Meet, the Girls’ team capped off their season with a respectable 14th place finish overall. The season will also be remembered for the outstanding contributions of Briar Stemmons, who shattered two long-standing school records: the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle.
The Boys’ team demonstrated strong competitive spirit throughout the season, culminating in a 4th place finish at the District Swim Meet. The team qualified for the State Championships in three individual events and, like the girls, secured spots in all three relay events, showcasing the overall strength of the program's relays.
At the State level, the Boys’ team earned a 25th place finish. A major highlight of their State performance was Ezra Stemmons, who earned a place on the podium by taking home the 4th place medal in the 100 Butterfly event.
