Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) is the student-led, co-curricular club that acts as leadership, plans activities, participates in leadership courses and competes in state/national competition. There are many CTSO's on campuses, both that operate outside of class and during. The state organization Apollo Culinary Arts affiliates with the FCCLA (see below for description). To be eligible to join the Apollo Culinary Arts CTSO, you must currently be in an advanced culinary arts class at Apollo. Officers will be chosen every school year and lead the group. This is a great way to learn more about leadership, become active in local activities, represent Apollo in yearly culinary competitions and learn valuable skills you will use during/after your high school careers.

Why Join

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life - planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication - all necessary within the home and workplace. FCCLA is unique among youth organizations because its programs are planned and run by members. It is the only Career and Technical Student Organization with family as its central focus.
