Library / Lab Reservations

Overview (Updated 8/27/13)

Starting January 31, 2011, a new reservation system will be in place for the Library, B6 Lab, B7 Lab, Chromebook Cart #1, and the Multimedia Cow.  All three will utilize your Google Apps Calendar To reserve the B7 Lab and Multimedia COW, you will put your specified periods directly on the calendar using the prescribed method outline below.

Your My GUHSD Google Calendar has already been given access to all the calendars.  If you were to login now, it should show up.

If you cannot see them, click on the following links to add the calendars manually:
* Please note that while the calendars will not be directly maintained, each reservation made will automatically be logged and notification will be sent to Jovan.  Please DO NOT modify or delete another teacher's reservation.  These resources currently are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If there are conflicts, please contact the teacher.

Setting up a Reservation


Once you have subscribed to the Calendar you can easily add your reservations by:
  1. Click on the day you want to make a reservation.
  2. Select the appropriate Calendar (not doing this could cause your reservation to be recorded incorrectly).
  3. Type the periods and your name like this:
    • P2,3 D. McDowell  <- This means Dan McDowell is reserving the lab for periods 2 and 3.
  4. Repeat the process for multiple days.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are not specifying times. For those familiar with Google Calendar we are using the All Day feature.  This way you just indicate the period and do not have to worry about the time.
