Andrew "Ace" Stidman
    Ace Stidman is a full time welder for the City of San Diego's equipment division.  He has been involved with the CTE/ROP welding program since 1984 when he was a student here when he earned his first AWS certification.  Since then he has earned seven welding certifications.  As a student he was offered a position as a welder's aide in 2004.  A short time later he was hired as a teacher in the program.
    Ace has been married 24 years and has two children.  Both of his children graduated from schools in the Grossmont District.  He firmly believes that his participation in the welding program as a student and instructor has provided him with the foundation for the success in life he enjoys today.

Ashley Wolters
    Ashley Wolters began teaching at El Cajon Valley High School in the fall of 2014.  He came to ECVHS following teaching the welding program at Rosamond High School.  Ashley gained his industry experience in San Diego's bustling marine industry where he owned and operated a highly successful marine repair business.  He possesses a bachelors degree from San Diego State University in Business and Finance and a masters in Career Technical Education from San Bernardino State University.

Ryan Sawyer
    Ryan is the most recent addition to the teaching team at El Cajon Valley High School.  In his current role at Marine Group in Chula Vista he supervises construction of the US Navy's newest and most advanced aluminum vessels.
