I grew up in San Diego County and earned my Bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology and Environmental Studies from UCSD. After many years of teaching informal education (Sea World, Ocean Institute) and volunteer research experience (Bumblebees, Microwasps, Humpback Whales, Pygmy Chimpanzees and Lions), I decided to get my teaching credential at San Francisco State University. I am currently working on a Master's degree in biology through San Diego Zoo Global.
I have taught high school biology in San Francisco, Escondido, San Diego and El Cajon! Biology is my passion and I am excited that I have been given the opportunity to teach International Baccalaureate biology in addition to college prep biology.
