About Me

I love teaching and making connections with all of my students. I graduated from West Hills High School and went on to earn my Bachelor's Degree from S.D.S.U. (go Aztecs). In addition, I have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, an administrative credential, and both a multiple subject and single subject (English) credential. I have had experience teaching grades K- 12, traditional school, adult school, GED and HiSET prep, Home/Hospital, Home Choice, Independent Study, and online credit recovery (Edgenuity, Apex, and Acellus).

I have lived in San Diego my whole life and love the fact that we live in a city where people from all over the world come to vacation. I love to travel and enjoy spending time outdoors at the beach and the mountains. I spend most of my time with my husband, our three amazing daughters and our adorable granddaughter. I also like to read and watch horror movies.

Working at the Home Choice Learning Complex gives me the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of students and allows me the flexibility to individualize the educational experience for each student based on his/her specific needs.
