Since New Smyrna is a coastal community it has the feel of a small beach town. With quaint cafés on Flagler Avenue and Canal Street one may enjoy a variety of food in a relaxed atmosphere. Many artists live and work in New Smyrna Beach. The Atlantic Center for the Arts and the HUB on Canal both allow artists to increase their knowledge, host receptions and sell their work. The area hosts several annual art shows and brings some of the best in the business out to show their work.
