 Wade Hampton High School
Counseling Vision and Mission

The Wade Hampton High School counseling department delivers a comprehensive school counseling program that ensures all students experience individual success in their academic, career, and social/emotional development. Our school counselors encourage students to develop, explore, and experience an individualized path aligned with their strengths, interests, and abilities. Leading like Generals, our graduates emerge as capable and productive citizens who lead and strengthen their communities and contribute world class knowledge and world class skills to our global society.

The mission of the Wade Hampton High School Counseling Department is to provide a supportive and developmentally appropriate program that focuses on maximizing the academic, social/emotional, and career goals of each student. As advocates, school counselors foster intentional relationships with each student and enhance access to meaningful opportunities and resources. We strengthen our school’s culture of excellence by expecting the personal best from our students. Our school community of equity “Educates, Inspires, and Empowers” all graduates to be responsible, productive, and well-rounded citizens.

Find out how our school counselors plan, manage, deliver, and evaluate our program and meet this mission through our counseling program goals and beliefs.
