I'm married and have two sons: Brandon and his wife Rachel who live in New York and Brett who lives in North Carolina. Hi! Last year was my first at Blue Ridge Middle School and I'm excited to be continuing another year here! I grew up in Houston, TX before moving to the Chicagoland area for college. My husband Eric and I moved to Greenville, SC in April 2024 with our puppy, Dorado and have been enjoying life in the Upstate. I love not just being a part of the Blue Ridge Middle School team, but the community as a whole!

Hello! My name is Brittany Shepard-- I just graduated from Liberty University with an M.Ed. in School Counseling. I moved to Greenville from Keene, New Hampshire in 2020 with my husband and our daughter, Brinley (6). I have over 15 years of experience in education, but it was during my time as the School Clerk at Woodmont High School that I discovered my passion for School Counseling. I truly love helping students navigate the complexities of school and supporting their social, emotional, and academic development. I look forward to beginning this journey as a School Counselor with the BRMS community!

I taught various subjects at Sevier Middle for two years before transferring to Blue Ridge Middle to teach literature for ten years. I have been a school counselor at Blue Ridge Middle since 2004. I am married and have three children: Brittany, Rachel, and Barrett.

I worked for seven years in banking and then spent 16 years as a stay-at-home Mom before coming to work for Greenville County Schools. I grew up in Canton, GA and lived in New Orleans, LA and Osyka, MS before moving to Greenville County in 1999. I have been the Career Development Facilitator at Blue Ridge Middle School since 2006 and added the title of school counselor in 2021. My husband Pete and I have four children: Kaitlin, Nathaniel, Jacob, and Lauren.
