The Greenfield High School Learning Commons allows patrons to access information, both online and in print, providing collaborative and independent spaces for research, inquiry and reading.  The Learning Commons' space is utilized by all students, staff, parents, and the community in which Greenfield Middle School serves.

1. Please print out this permission slip, sign it and have your student bring it to the library. It is good for the school year. A paper copy is also available in the library and main office.

2. Next, please go online to Sign-Up Genius to select dates. This sign-up will be available each month.

The library will be open after school on select Tuesdays and Thursdays for up to 35 students to work on homework, research, projects, collaboration, and reading, including book checkout.  (Please note there will be NO program on: March 16, April 13, April 18, or April 20.) Depending on the day, up to four teachers will circulate to help the students in small groups.  This is not one-on-one tutoring--if you need that, please contact your child’s specific teacher.  This program is for independent study with teachers to answer questions.

Students must stay in the library from 2:50 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. If your child needs to leave early, please send a note indicating the time you will pick them up. Otherwise, all students must stay in the library until 4:00 p.m. Please plan to pick up your child from the south doors by the large parking lot at this time, for there will be no supervision after 4:00 p.m. and the doors will be locked.
