Early Release Responses Needed by Feb. 9th

posted Feb 1, 2018, 7:04 AM by Jennifer Jeutter

Thursday, February 15 is an early release date for the district when elementary students in grades K5-5 will be released at 11:50 am.  Elementary teachers will be engaging in collaborative professional development opportunities focused on student learning during the afternoon.  PLEASE NOTE:  There are no 4K or Early Childhood AM or PM classes on this day.

Please use this form to indicate your plans for your children on this early release day.  This form should be completed by Friday, February 9 so that we can ensure all children have a plan for care in the afternoon.  If you need to make a change to your response, please contact your child's teacher directly.  There is also no school Feb. 16th as teachers will continue with their professional development opportunities.

The Grafton Nutrition Services Department offers bag lunches for any students on early release days, whether they are going to child care or heading home.  Use this link to order a bag lunch (orders are due by Feb. 9th):  https://goo.gl/forms/d2dVnULwLbUkJL8V2

Calling All Bakers

posted Feb 1, 2018, 6:57 AM by Jennifer Jeutter

Bakers are needed to make cupcakes, cookies, dipped pretzels or marshmallows, etc. for Family Fun Night February 9th for the cupcake walk.  If you don't have time to bake, you may also buy the items.  The kids love seeing the variety of treats to choose from.  In an effort to keep our children with life-threatening allergies safe and to minimize cross-contamination, please do NOT bring treats made with any type of nuts: no peanuts, peanut butter, Nutella, tree nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc.).  We will have a few options available that are pre-packaged and free of nuts, gluten, dairy, egg.

*For home-bake goods, please list the ingredients and attach to the container.*

Packaging will be available for kids to use as they pick their treat..bring your goodies in a box, tray, or Tupperware-you do not need to individually wrap, but may do so if desired.

Please drop off your contributions to Woodview by 12:00 on February 9th - there will be a table outside of the Woodview Office.
