Mike Bergmann is in his 15th year at Grafton High School. He is a 1999 graduate of GHS and is excited to be back teaching at his old high school. Mr. Bergmann currently teaches AP Calculus BC, Pre-Calculus, and Advanced Algebra.

Mr. Bergmann graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Statistics, and earned his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, from UWM. In addition to teaching, Mr. Bergmann is the Boys' JV Soccer Coach and has also spent time as an assistant coach for the baseball and basketball programs.  In his spare time (which isn't much...) he loves spending time with his daughter, Riley (age 10), and his son, Alexander (age 7).  He also thoroughly enjoys discussing irony (thanks BC Calc class of 2009!) and using the terms "Snap, Crackle, and Pop" to refer to the 4th, 5th, and 6th derivatives of the position function, respectively (see wikipedia page "Jounce"...not anymore...).

I feel my first responsibility is to the students. I strongly encourage my students to come in for extra help or to clear up any questions they may have.  My second responsibility is to keep the lines of communication open to parents/guardians.  Do not hesitate to call or email me for any reason. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please locate your class using the tabs on the top of this page.  Below, you will find the Classroom Syllabus that was issued to all students at the beginning of the year.  If you have any questions/concerns, my contact information is to the right.

I'm looking forward to a great year!!

-Mr. Bergmann
