Foodie Flights and Fab Flights for your holiday gift-giving!

posted Nov 15, 2017, 12:08 PM by Jamie Koehler

Kennedy FSO is offering a wonderful opportunity for you to support local businesses and the children at Kennedy at the same time: Foodie Flights and Fab Flights!

What are they? Passports for discounts on places you already go right here in Ozaukee County and the North Shore area.

How does it work?
1. Purchase a Foodie Flight or Fab Flight passport.
2. Take it to a participating local restaurant or salon.
2. Get it stamped and save money!

A small sampling of the local businesses where you can save money with a passport include Cafe Hollander, Sobelman's Pub & Grill, Atlas BBQ, Pourvino, The Fermentorium, Tello's, Fiddleheads Coffee, Sal's Pizza, 9 Round, Orange Theory, Brewcity Yoga, Gloss Nail Spa, and many, many more.

See the FULL LIST at: https://www.jettsetlocal.com/kennedy.

Dine at TWO restaurants or take advantage of ONE salon offer and you've paid for your passports!

Foodie Flights cost $20 (Kennedy families save $5 over the normal price) and Fab Flights cost $30. HALF of the cost of the Flights go to Kennedy FSO!

Two ways to order:

ONLINE: https://www.jettsetlocal.com/kennedy (free shipping)

PAPER ORDER FORM: https://goo.gl/uWZ1Ha

(Return paper order forms to the office with checks payable to Kennedy Elementary School.)

All orders are due by Monday, December 11.

Winter Weather Wear

posted Nov 15, 2017, 7:24 AM by Jamie Koehler   [ updated Nov 18, 2017, 9:26 AM by Rick Seybold ]

It's time to dig out your child's hat, gloves and jacket!!  The weather is getting colder, and students are getting cold when they are at recess.  For your child's health and safety, please help him/her dress appropriately for winter weather conditions. Coats are required until the outdoor temperature reaches 60 degrees.  Boots, hats/hoods, gloves, and snowpants (K-2) are required to play during the winter months whenever snow is visible on the ground.  3rd-5th graders do not need to wear snowpants, but are required to wear boots or they will have a blacktop only recess.  During the lunch recess period, students are playing outside for up to 30 minutes, therefore it is very important for them to dress warmly.
