Preschool Screening Tool

posted Jan 10, 2019, 8:41 AM by Kate Nestler   [ updated Jan 21, 2019, 11:59 AM by Kara Cain ]

Children develop skills and reach milestones at their own pace. How is your child doing?
The Grafton School District offers a comprehensive and confidential screening tool to help guide and keep track of your child’s growth and development between the ages of 3 and 5. We encourage all preschool aged children to be screened.
Your questionnaire will be scored and you will be contacted to discuss the results and any suggested activities you can do at home. If there are concerns with the screening results, families will be offered a free comprehensive evaluation to determine if additional services are warranted through the school district. Evidence shows that early intervention is key and the sooner you address a developmental delay or special need, the better chances your child has of long-term success.
