Bio: Sean Conley has been teaching adults in the U.S. and internationally since 1989. In the early 90s he began to explore the changing role of technology in teaching and learning. For the last decade he has taught graduate courses on the topic, examining the challenge of the digital divide, technology in the third world, the open source software movement and the role of experiential learning and reflection in on-line and blended delivery. He has served as a consultant for the Soros foundation and for USAID projects and has been invited to be a keynote speaker at lesser known teachers conferences in Serbia, Ukraine, Kyrgystan, the Republic of Georgia and the UAE. Most recently he served as the educational technology consultant on a three year curriculum development and teacher education project for the Ministry of Education in Algeria funded by the U.S. State Department’s Middle East Partnership Initiatives (MEPI).
