Health and Wellness

This course is designed to support students as critical, independent learners who understand concepts related to health promotion and disease prevention. Students will develop respect for self and others by demonstrating the ability to reduce health risks and practice health-enhancing behaviors. Information on food and nutrition, stress management, personal relationships, sexuality, sexually transmitted infections, and drug and alcohol use will be used to make responsible decisions to a set a personal wellness goal.
