Our Mission

The GOP Youth Convention is a national organization working to recruit, mentor and train a network of students and young professionals - between the ages of 15 to 30 - to be political leaders and recruiters in the Republican Party.

Our honorary co-chairs are former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele.

We accomplish our mission by finding young people interested in politics and providing them the training, issue education, and contacts that will help them become effective leaders.

We organize local events, regional training seminars and national events coordinated with meetings of the RNC and other groups.

We also provide individual political counseling in person or by telephone, and organize weekly events and regular conference calls with interesting speakers who can educate young people on how to present Republican points of view on key issues.

We do not endorse or support specific candidates. Our goal is to work with all Republicans to build this years cadre of republican volunteers and a new generation of young leadership for the Republican Party.
