From our Pastor:
As many of you have heard, the State of Colorado announced this week that places of worship will no longer be subject to specific guidance, but instead will be treated as all other critical businesses. We certainly welcome this announcement.
What this means:
• The previous state and county mandated attendance limits will no longer be enforced.
• However, other requirements like social/physical distancing and local mask mandates still apply.
• State and local health departments can still respond to outbreaks.
Moving forward, attendance should still be determined by how many families can be safely distanced from each other, not to exceed 50% of fire code capacity.
Our Lady of Lourdes around 55
St. Paul’s around 70
Saint Mary of the Assumption around 140
Important: People who are sick, symptomatic, or have recently been exposed to the coronavirus should stay home as it is an act of Christian charity to safeguard the health of others.Catholics who aren’t able to go to Mass should continue to keep the Sabbath holy with intentional time in prayer including engagement in the readings for the day, which may be enhanced through watching a pre-recorded or live-streamed Mass and making a spiritual communion.
Acting with love and charity towards each other, we will continue to take appropriate steps to keep our parishes as safe as possible, and we ask for everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we navigate this challenging time.
In Christ,
Fr Tadeusz

MASS
We will be able to accommodate whomever would like to come to Mass. When arriving, space yourself out in pews and wear masks, as able. If you are not comfortable with the number of people in the church, remember you still have a dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation. Also consider that St. Mary’s is the largest church building and will have more space to spread out.
