Day 09

About Today
Checkpoint!  Today is a day where you can explore ways to bring your classroom online or enhance your online classroom environment.  Think about your website...what do you like about the learning resources you currently have available?  What would you add or change?  What do you like about resources you have found on others' websites?  Bring your thoughts together, add some content, and start publishing!

Learning Target
Spend some time updating your classroom presence online and then take a moment to reflect on your blog or website about how you have brought your classroom online.  Share what you have learned and then post your link below.

Scaffolding

Building upon what you have already explored and published on Day 2 and Day 6, take the content you have already built and take it one step further.  Some things to consider:
        • What would make your online learning environment more dynamic?
        • Have you added a blog for easy updates, student interaction, etc.?
        • Have you documented a learning project?
        • Have you provided supporting current standard-related resources?
        • Have you tried a new resource in your classroom or with your students?

Still Looking for New Things?

Regardless of the subject area you teach, one of the universal elements of instruction is that of vocabulary.  Providing different resources for students to access outside of the school day would be a great way of providing supporting resources on your website!  If you are looking for new ways to integrate vocabulary resources into your classroom, feel free to explore some of the resources below (vocabulary resources are displayed on Pinterest boards - you do not need to be a registered user on Pinterest to view the links).
