Hello ASA String Students of 2013-14!!!
String students DO NOT need to bring their instruments on August 12. You will receive further information in class that day. Students who are new to the string program are strongly encouraged to come to the String Instrument Rental and Supply event listed above. Meet your teachers and get assistance with the rental process.

Please visit the Class Guidelines page to download the Welcome to Strings letter. Please note that the letter is specific to your orchestra level. After reading the packet please complete the online String Syllabus Review Form at: https://docs.google.com/a/goasa.org/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dE9sTE12aGw1UWxzelpISGhSZ0NZRnc6MQ

See below for the link to the supply list for string classes. The String Class Calendar (link to the left) will tell you which dates you have orchestra and technique class.

Welcome to ASA Strings. Please use the navigation on the left to connect with your student's technique teacher (Dr. Schreffler - Violin, Ms. Wuenschel - Viola, Ms. Simiz - Cello and Bass) and orchestra teacher (Mrs. Blandino - SF1, SF2, CO and Sinfonia) to find assignments and important information for specific classes. We promote a culture of poise and posture in all string classes and firmly believe that the cultivation of these qualities is important for a successful musician and will enhance a student's life regardless of the path they choose.

String Department Grades (7 - 12 grades): When you check your student's schedule you will see two teachers listed for their string class. One will be Mrs. Blandino for orchestra and the other will be your student's technique teacher (listed at left). Each class will be worth 1/2 credit and students will see each teacher on an alternating daily basis.
