Criteria: Graduating students who attain certain academic standards and who have financial needs; the applicant needs to be enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary institution for the fall of 2018, such as college or university; show an average of 70%

Canadian Paraplegic Assoc. Scholarship - The Donald E. Curran Scholarship - Varies
Criteria: Any person with a mobility disability (preference given to persons with spinal cord injury), must be attending a post-secondary school (university, college, technical school) in the Atlantic Provinces, merit, academic standing and on such other criteria as the Selection Committee may determine.

Friends of Sable Island Society Scholarship - $1000
Criteria: Graduate must be pursuing post-secondary in the fall; form of submission is the student's choice but could include a 3-minute creative video, journal entry, feature story, op-ed, short story, original piece of art, speech, poster, news report, dialogue, 500 word essay, or poem on a topic related to Sable Island (i.e. cultural or literary history, government projects, wildlife, oil and gas activities, fresh water, tourism, meteorology, geomatics, fishery, conservation, salvage, military).
