Tech Integration: School Day Offerings

These courses are designed for teachers who are interested in expanding their technology integration skills. Some courses are foundational level, while some are more advanced. Please read the course descriptions carefully. CPDUs are also available for these courses. These courses are offered during the school day, and you will need to arrange for a substitute. Please use Absence Reason Prof Development > Instructional Tech.

Digital Learning Workflow

This course is an introduction to organizing digital resources in Schoology, creating Schoology materials, and Notability/Schoology workflow. If you are newer to 1:1 or need a refresher in how your students can use the iPad to access your course materials and turning in assignments and quizzes, this is for you!


Advanced Schoology

Topics above and beyond the Schoology basics learned in previous professional development will be explored. Topics include: rubric creation and use, alignment of assignments, tests/quizzes to standards, tracking mastery, and use of student completion tools (student paced learning). Advanced feedback tools will also be investigated (video & audio feedback).


App Smashing with Multimedia

Most apps offer some, but not all, features students need to create an authentic product. This app smashing course will help teachers develop ways for students to demonstrate understanding of concepts and skills through the use of a variety of multimedia tools and apps.

This is the educational equivalent of an escape room! Learn how to create puzzles and treasure hunts for your classroom so that students can discover content, review previous concepts, and have fun! Both physical and digital formats will be explored, with an emphasis on utilizing the iPad for participation and creation.
