360-Degree Immersive Planetarium Experiences!


Located at the Glastonbury East Hartford Elementary Magnet School, the Glastonbury Planetarium is your gateway to the Universe. 

Outfitted with a state-of-the-art digital projector and 5.1 surround sound, the Glastonbury Planetarium is capable of transporting you though space and time to view the wonders of the Universe.  See and explore the stars, constellations, planets, galaxies and more.  

We offer 
Live Star Shows, award-winning FullDome films and Music Concerts for the public, Field Trip opportunities for schools and community groups, classes for Glastonbury students, as well as Rentals of the dome, and Birthday Parties by reservation.

Wonders of the Winter Sky 
11:00 a.m.

A live presenter will take you on a in-depth  journey to explore the celestial dellights of our winter sky,  from bright stars and planets to nebula and faraway objects.  Discover the magic, beauty and stories from the night sky.   Questions and audience participation encouraged during this live planetarium show spectacular! 


Black Holes
1:00 p.m.

Journey to the realm of black holes in this cutting-edge production, narrated by Liam Neeson. Travel to a place where the laws of energy, force, motion, and time are pushed to the limit.  Experience one of the most exciting applications of astronomy, mathematics, and physics in an immersive experience like no other.


Sunstruck
3:00 p.m.

Travel back to the beginning of time and experience the birth of the sun. Discover how it came to support life, how it threatens life as we know it, and how its energy will one day fade away.
