Welcome

Hello and welcome students and parents!  I hope this finds all of you doing well as we transition into the new 2024-25 school year. I am, currently, in the process of updating my website and will eventually include announcements as to daily lessons and assignments in my LS Math 8 Courses that your son/daughter are enrolled in this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. My "contact info" page is located on this site. I am in my 14th year with the Greater Johnstown School District and the 14th year at Greater Johnstown High School. I am an Itinerant Special Education Learning Support Teacher here at JHS and work alongside our Math Department to provide special education services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP's), who are included in the inclusion regular education classrooms as their least restrictive environments. I will be instructing the two LS Math 8 courses available for the 2024-25 school year. My educational background includes a Master of Education Degree from Lock Haven University (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education (N-12) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in (2011). I am originally from Johnstown where I grew up in Upper Yoder Township in the Westmont area. I graduated from Bishop McCort High School in 1997. I currently reside in Upper Yoder Township with my wife and our two vibrant and loving pets.  I look forward to working with you and your child this school year to make yours and their experience here at JHS the best yet!
