STUDENTS IN NEED OF EXTRA HELP: Days that I am available after school to help individual students are always posted on the board at the front of our classroom. Students do NOT need to set up an appointment to come in for help.  Students are also welcome to come in for help during 2nd (in L207) and 5th (in L311) periods if they have study hall or lunch.

About your German teacher:

I was born in Wiesbaden, Germany.  When I was 7 years old my family moved to the United States where I began to learn English.  I try to visit my family members in Germany whenever I can.  During the school year I enjoy presenting the German language in a manner that helps students to learn to communicate.

My schedule is listed below.  I am generally available to students for extra help after school and during 2nd and 5th periods.  Students should not hesitate to ask questions during class.  However, students may see me at the end of class to set up a time or they may arrive during 2nd period, 5th period, after school without an appointment.

Home Access Center grades are generally entered each Friday evening.

GRADES ON HOME ACCESS CENTER
Grades on Home Access Center are usually updated each Friday evening by 6:30 p.m.  Homework grades for the week are usually updated at that time, but the wait for assessment and writing grades is a little longer.

If you need to speak with Mrs. Swisher, please do not wait for a conference date.  Please contact her by email (swisherc@gjps.org) or by leaving a message at  (614) 479 - 1639.
