College Prep Math:
Goal of Course: Helping students become college ready by bridging the gap between high school math and college math.
Parent Information: Students have a College Prep Math course syllabus and a course completion timeline/grading scale. Please review all information with your student. Remember students must complete 2 courses to earn their credit for graduation. Please have your student show you how they log on and complete their work. This will allow you to learn more about their online program called ALEKS. Parents can also go online to ALEKS.com to learn more about our program.
Students earn a weekly participation grade. This is calculated on what percentage of topics they have learned based on the weekly goal. Weekly grades allow you to see whether or not they are keeping up with the required work. Please visit home access and view all grades.
