Lakeshore Book Playoffs Update

posted Mar 14, 2016, 4:54 PM by Sarah McElrath

We are up to the semi-finals! Which book will win it all? Will it be Harry Potter? Hunger Games? Ungifted? If I Stay? How about Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children? Or The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die? Diary of a Wimpy Kid? or Papertowns? Your opinion matters, so make sure to vote this week.

The Quote contest is wrapping up this week.
Your Playoff Score Card is due by next week Wednesday if you want to be in the running for the cash. Drop it off at the library by mid-day Wednesday.

Can't wait to see who read the most books!

Welcome Back!

posted Sep 4, 2015, 10:14 AM by Sarah McElrath

I hope you all had a fantastic summer and a chance to read tons of great books. Although we are probably all sad to be getting up early again, I am excited to show you some exciting new reads.

Unfortunately, Lakeshore Library won't be open for business as usual quite yet. You see, according to Destiny, you still haven't moved up from whatever grade you were in last year. Therefore, we cannot check out books quite yet.

Don't panic, we are working on the problem and hoping it is resolved as soon as possible. Hang tight, read an ebook, and we'll let you know when we are going to be open for business.
