E9-1-1 TELECOMMUNICATOR


 APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, APRIL 25 AT 5 P.M.


Applications for the position of E9-1-1 Telecommunicator will be accepted through 5:00 p.m., April 18, 2014.  Duties include receipt of E9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls-for-service, dispatch of public safety equipment, as well as related work.  Subject to shift work, holiday and weekend schedules.  $2,950 to $3,672 per month, plus benefits.  Minimum qualifications include: US Citizen, at least 18, high school diploma or GED, and type 40 WPM.  Able to work with others during stressful situations, able to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations, response time requirements.
