Presentation slides are now available!
A Currents in Language Learning conference: October 26-27, 2013
This invitational conference brings together 14 specialists in L2 quantitative reasoning to exchange ideas about common challenges and, importantly, solutions for how we go about quantitative research in second language acquisition and applied linguistics. Topics include basic issues in measurement, design, and statistical analysis, alternative approaches to quantitative inference, and advanced statistical models for complex L2 research problems. Presenters will each give 20-minute presentations on a focal topic, followed by 10 minutes for audience question and answer. A one-hour panel/audience discussion will wrap up each day’s talks. All sessions are free and open to the (registered) public. Read more...
