Services Offered by the PHI team
 
Quantitative Services 
The Population Health Initiative has teams of graduate and undergraduate research assistants who can assist with a variety of quantitative tasks:
  • Data Collection
  • Data Entry
  • Data Analysis
Students are familiar with Excel spreadsheets, SPSS, STATA, R, and MiniTab. These services are available to help faculty members finalize manuscripts for publication as well as to develop pilot information to support contracts or grant applications.

Dr. Crowell also operates office hours for faculty consulting on Wednesdays from 10-11am and 2-3 pm and Fridays from 11am - noon, or by appointment.
Research Support 
The Population Health Initiative teams also offers faculty and interested stakeholders support for the purpose of developing research grant applications, contracts, and to assist with any research that would facilitate faculty submitting manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications. 
Assistance provided may include: 
  • Background literature reviews
  • Finalizing your manuscripts formatting for peer-reviewed submissions 
  • Coordinating searches for experts across campus to help you put research teams together when you receive a call for proposals that require multidisciplinary expertise.
