am a Junior Faculty Fellow in Ethics at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, in the Georgetown Institute for the Study of Markets and EthicsIn 2016, I will join the faculty at Johns Hopkins University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health, affiliated with the Berman Institute of Bioethics. My research focuses on applied ethics, political philosophy, and health law and policy.

I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy in 2015 from Stanford University and my J.D in 2013 from Stanford Law SchoolDuring 2014-15, I was a law clerk for the Hon. Carlos F. Lucero on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. In 2013-14, I was a visiting scholar at the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. Before graduate school, I was a post-baccalaureate fellow at the Department of Bioethics, National Institutes of Health.
