In the Department of Faculty and Curriculum Support (formerly Educational Media), we provide Poster Printing, Medical Illustration and Graphics services. We also create illustrations & figures for research publications, design printed promotional materials, and much more, in support of research and teaching at Georgetown University. Visit our Services page for a complete list.
Our support for poster sessions is extensive. We print hundreds of posters every year! We can design your poster if you wish. Or, we can help you get started designing your own poster in PowerPoint. If you don't have much experience designing rollups, please visit our online PowerPoint Poster Tutorial page. Here you will find helpful information about setting up the poster, type issues, etc. We also offer various PowerPoint poster samples to help you. We offer these files as a free service and kindly request that they be used only if you are bringing the poster in to us for printing.
Our Department is located in Room GM-6, in the Preclinical Science Building. We're across the hallway from the main entrance to the Dahlgren Memorial Library and the Medical Bookstore. See Map.
FACS is normally open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
There are charges for all services, however, we offer many options to keep costs within your budget. We are happy to supply estimates to projects of any size. We have established turn-around times for most services. Turn-around times for large projects will be dictated by the scope and complexity of the project, and upon our current workload. There is an additional charge for work requested on a rush basis. View a Pricelist on our website or pick up a price list at our front desk.
Payment may be charged to your current University cost code numbers, or paid by cash, check, or credit card (MasterCard or VISA only -- not American Express).

Sending files (posters, etc.) for printing? Please use:
Since email is not 100% reliable and large files may take a while to transfer, make sure to call the front desk after you've sent your file, so we know to expect them. Also, if your file is particularly large, like over 10 megs, please call us to make different arrangements for emailing.
Unfortunately we cannot accept Flashdrives since we have received a number of tenacious viruses from them.
