The Western New York Hispanic Heritage Festival was created with the goal of increasing the awareness of, and understanding and respect for, the cultures of the Hispanic residents of Western New York--a segment of the population that is vital to the regional economy but largely invisible to the general non-Hispanic community. 

The Planning Committee for this event has set as its intended outcome the creation of a culturally diverse platform where the area’s Hispanic and non-Hispanic populations can gather and become better acquainted through a mutually enriching dialog and other experience.
