Speech & Language

The ability to communicate effectively at home, in school, at the work place and out in the community is crucial to all people. Everyone has the right to be able to communicate to the best of their ability and to receive help in achieving that goal from the educational community. It is the responsibility of this unit and its members to use a wide variety of diagnostic and intervention strategies and/or technologies to assist students in acquiring and/or improving their ability to communicate at home, at school and eventually in the work place and in the community.

By providing therapeutic diagnostic and intervention services to students from the preschool through senior high age, who are identified as having mild, moderate or severe articulation, voice, fluency and receptive and/or expressive language delays and/or disorders, we are helping to prepare all children for life.
