Commendations

The Compliance Monitoring Office (CMO) reviews data available through the special education student data management system to monitor the public schools and the Guam Early Intervention System (GEIS) on a biannual basis.  Specifically, the CMO monitors schools/program reports related to the folloing compliance requirements:

PART B:
1).  LRE - Related Services
2).  Child Find - 60 day timeline
3).  Preschool Transition: Individualized Education Program (IEP) by 3rd birthday
4).  Secondary Transition
5).  Conducting Reevaluations

PART C:
1).  Timely Services
2).  45 day timeline
3).  Transition to Preschool
4).  Periodic review
5).  Annual Meeting to Evaluate Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
6).  Early Intervention Services
