GDOE ONLINE RESOURCES (under construction)

Hafa Adai!

The list below was compiled by the Guam Department of Education’s Division Curriculum and Instructional Improvement.  The resources listed are designed to help all of our parents, teachers, schools and school administrators provide educational opportunities for our students.  Getting involved in at-home learning also contributes to continued social development and interaction. Many of the resources we present are free and will meet the needs of a variety of different subjects.

Although many platforms are currently in use by the department, not all are endorsed by GDOE.  We have broken them up into different categories to help you select what would suit you best.

ALL-AROUND CURRICULUM (multiple subjects)
Scholastic.com - Scholastic Learn at Home provides 20 days’ worth of active learning journeys designed to reinforce and sustain educational opportunities for those students who are unable to attend school. Students can work on them independently, with their family or along with teachers.
Khan Academy - Khan Academy is a free online learning platform that offers practice exercises, instructional videos and a personalized learning dashboard for students to learn subjects including math, science, computer programming, history, art history and economics from home. It also has specialized content from NASA, the Museum of Modern Art, the California Academy of Sciences and MIT. In light of the recent school closures, Khan Academy released daily schedules for students in pre-K through grade 12 to follow from home.
