Mrs. Annette D. Salas, Principal









About the Principal:
Mrs. Salas earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Guam. She has taught in the public school system for 13 years, was a curriculum coordinator for 2 years and has been in school administration for 3 years.  She obtained a dual Masters degree in Language and Literacy and Administration and Supervision at the University of Guam.

School Profile

The village of Inarajan is located in southeast Guam. According to consensus 2010 as of March 27, 2016, the village has a population 2,273 people (Inarajan Mayor’s Office). Within our village, there exists one elementary school, one middle school, and a few businesses such as Gef Pa’go Chamorro Cultural Village, McKraut’s Fast Food and Bar, the Hotnu Pizza/Bread Shop, Circle K Gas Station, four small retail stores, the Inarajan Recreation Center, the Inarajan Community Center, Salasglula (Inarajan) Pool, a Solar Farm, the Layon Landfill, Talofofo Falls, and Valley of the Latte Adventure Park. There are also several public facilities, such as the Southern Region Community Health Center, Inarajan Bus Satellite Station, Senior Citizen Community Center, a fire station, and two churches. The village is also widely known as having various prehistoric sites, such as the Baptist Church Ruins, Gadao’s Cave, historic homes, statues of historical figures, including Chief Gadao and Bear Rock, and many public and private beaches. The Inarajan Elementary School Community (faculty, staff, parents, students, the community leaders and residents) believes that all students can learn. The vision of the Guam Department of Education is that every student will be responsible, respectful, and ready for life. The mission states that our educational community should prepare all students for life, promote excellence, and provide support.
