Please join us as we share our school's FY2019 budget.

October 11 & 12 are our scheduled picture days.  Photo packets were distributed to students via their 7th period teacher.

The week of Sept. 17-21 will be celebrated by faculty, staff and students participating in a spirit week that promotes PEACE daily.

Monday, 9/17-

P: PINK DAY- The color pink represents caring, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding, and is associated with giving and receiving care.  Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to wear pink tops/t-shirts with uniform bottoms to bring awareness of PEACE through love and understanding.

Tuesday, 9/18-

E:  ELEGANT DAY (SUNDAY’S BEST DAY)-  Elegance is defined as refined grace or dignified propriety, or gracefully refined and dignified.  Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to not only be their best but to wear their best too!  So dress up in an elegant outfit and show both grace and dignity as you support PEACE in our world.

Wednesday, 9/19-

A:  ACCEPTANCE DAY (TWIN DAY)Defined, in one way, as the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable, typically to be admitted into a group.  To represent accepting those around us, grab a friend or make a new friend, and plan to dress the same, somewhat of a TWIN day.  Do this to show unity and acceptance of one another and those around you.

Thursday, 9/20-

C: COMFORT DAY (PAJAMA DAY)-  Defined as a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint.  PEACE exudes a type of emotional ease along with a great sense of freedom from pain so in the spirit of comfort, faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in showing support for PEACE by wearing comfy pajamas!

Friday, 9/21-

E: EVERYONE INCLUDED (WHITE DAY)-  White is found to be a color of protection and encouragement, offering a sense of peace and calm, comfort and hope, helping alleviate emotional upsets.  It is the color used to represent PEACE internationally and for that reason, and so EVERYONE can be INCLUDED, the faculty, staff and students, are asked to wear all white or at least a white top with khaki bottoms to show support of PEACE all over the WORLD.  Let’s aim to do a complete WARRIOR WHITE OUT during our PEACE DAY PARADE!

*GENERAL REMINDERS: Clothing must adhere to our school’s dress code policy.  This means unacceptable clothing is not permitted.  Students are NOT to wear spaghetti straps/mid-drifts/see thru clothing or clothing with inappropriate paraphernalia---bad words (foul language), drugs, alcohol, obscene pictures, etc.  On the dates listed as colored tops with uniform bottoms, please ensure that the color PINK-Monday and WHITE-Friday make up at least 75% of the shirt or top being worn.  This means that a shirt with only pink writing or a shirt with a picture with white on it will not be acceptable.  Students who DO NOT follow the dress code will be asked to contact parents and/or guardians to provide a school uniform.

  • All students of IMS are eligible for free breakfast and lunch under the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).
  • Student Counseling Confidentiality forms have been sent home for parent signature.
  • Student Health Emergency cards need to be updated and returned to the school nurse.
  • Acceptable Use Policy for Technology & Media Release forms have been sent home.  Both students & parents must sign these forms.
