The Guam Department of Education is a single unified school district consisting of grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Our 26 elementary schools, eight middle schools, six high schools and alternative school serve over 30,000 students.

2017 Teacher of the Year Awards Documents

The Guam Department of Education (“GDOE”) launched the 2017 Guam Department of Education Teacher of the Year Program. The purpose of the program is to recognize and honor the efforts of effective teachers in the public schools.

Each school community is invited to nominate candidates from their jurisdiction. Nomination deadline is February 17, 2017 at 5:00pm. Nomination forms are available on the gdoe web- site for the general public.
