CAMPAIGN PROGRESS ...check out the links below

Following nearly two months in plan review and back-check, the plans drawn by Architect E. Jack Christensen and his associates have been approved by the City of San Jose. We rejoice in this milestone albeit a painfully slow process. However when coupled with our own due-diligence in our planning and revising of plans, we realize a project like this just doesn't happen over night. The construction may actually take less time than the planning for it has. This is a fairly typical process. We mere mortals are just not used to waiting and working through it sometimes. I applaud us all for our patience!

September 2015 Project Update

FYI   ...The Leadership Team and Architect Jack Christensen have the final plans for the Luther Hall Renovation Project. The Plans have been submitted to the City for review and comments, a process which will take approximately 8 weeks. Many thanks to Wayne Hokanson and Architect Jack Christensen for their conversations with people at the City, working to make the process as smooth and efficient as  possible.

The Gathering of the Minds continue to work out details. You can read more in the article above. The team working on the bathrooms in the back of the church is looking at materials and contractors and hope to get started later this summer.

4/19 (last week) - $15,255
3/29, 4/5, 4/12 - $8,557

So far, the campaign has been successful beyond what many of us dreamed or believed and we are certainly grateful for the generosity of our people. Ultimately, however, we are grateful to God for His faithfulness in continuing to lead and guide us as we move forward with our Campus Renovation plans.  The success of the Forward in Faith campaign has come
through the generosity of households, such as yours, as all of us have sought God’s will for our stewardship decision through praying the simple prayer, “Lord, what do You want to do through me?” Thank you for your prayerful discernment and your response during this important season of ministry.

Questions you may be asking??
When do we start giving?
Our 3-year campaign has started as of Sunday, April 19, 2015. See results of First Fruits Sunday giving report above!

Is my commitment in addition to my regular offerings?
Yes, this is in addition to your regular contributions to the General Fund, which help support our current ministries and
maintain our facilities. Thank you in advance for your gifts that reach beyond your present giving!

I don’t remember how much my commitment is?
Your commitment amount and total given will be shown on your quarterly financial statement. Please check to make sure we have recorded your information correctly.

How can I make my gift?
Cash or Check - During the 3-year campaign period you can fulfill your commitment weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually
by using your assigned church envelopes and designate the amount to Forward in Faith or FF. Or use the envelopes in
the pews – just make sure to write your name on it and designate to FF.

Simply Giving Program - Are you interested in having your offering and/or Forward in Faith commitment automatically
withdrawn from you bank account? Forms and information are available in the back of church.
